The Planning & Zoning Commission will hold a Public Hearing/Special Meeting on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 @ 7:15 p.m. at the Josephine Volunteer Fire Department, 201 W. Hubbard St., Josephine, Texas.  This meeting is open to the public and subject to the Open Meeting Laws of the State of Texas.  Pursuant to Section 551.071 of the Texas Government Code, the Commission may convene into Executive Session at any time during the meeting as deemed necessary to obtain advice from the City Attorney regarding any posted agenda item.

 

A)  Call to order/roll call

B)  Invocation

C)  Open Public Hearing

      Receive public comments regarding amending the zoning on a 6.9 acre tract of land

      located at 610 E. Cook Street which is zoned SF-1 Single Family Residential District, by

      changing the zoning to C-2 General Commercial District

      Consider recommendation from DBI Engineers to approve the concept plan for proposed

      convenience store

D)  Close Public Hearing

 

E)  Discuss, consider, and act on Final Report/Recommendation to the City Council

      regarding amending the zoning on a 6.9 acre tract of land located at 610 E. Cook Street

      which is zoned SF-1 Single Family Residential District, by changing the zoning to C-2

      General Commercial District

 

F) Discuss, consider, and act on recommendations from DBI Engineers to approve the

     following items for Magnolia Pointe:

     1)  Concept Plan

     2)  Preliminary Plat

     3)  Construction Plans are under the review of DBI Engineers

          Engineer recommends that the developer be granted permission to begin

          preliminary grading operations for Phase 1 of the Magnolia Pointe Addition

 

G)  Discuss, consider, act upon the request from Connie Miller to re-plat 7.596 acres located

      in the Thomas C Crabtree Survey, Tract 3 into 2 lots

 

H)  Discussion and possible action to approve the minutes from the April 25, 2017 special

       meeting

 

 I)  Items for next meeting if needed

 

 J)  Adjournment
